Who are we?
We are a bunch of enthusiastic and fun horse people that strive to improve the quality of your horseback riding experience by preserving, maintaining and improving the equestrian trails at Lake Ray Robert's State Park in North Texas.
The equestrian trail runs from North of Pilot Point to Hwy 380 in Denton. There are several trailheads:

Lake Ray Robert's Equestrian Trail Association - LRRETA works together with The Friends of the Greenbelt Organization. The Greenbelt Alliance of Denton County is a community-based, volunteer organization that fosters awareness of the Greenbelt (trails south of the dam on road 455 in Pilot Point); generates public support; promotes recreational and educational opportunities; and encourages preservation of the Greenbelt in its present, scenic, natural state for the benefit of all.
In addition, Lake Ray Robert's Equestrian Trail Association - LRRETA is a Partner of The Back Country Horsemen of America, a non-profit Organization with over 13,000 members; Committed to the commonsense use and enjoyment of horses in America's back country and wilderness.
