TRAIL MARKED AND MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
LRRETA members Gail Cotton, Jamie Erbes, Lorrie Gibbs, Tim Hitchcock, and Linda Moore hit the trail and got the job done—new posts installed with precision, all thanks to the guidance of Ray Roberts Lake State Park staff. LRRETA workday was a success! Big progress, one post at a time!
Each location had already been marked with brown Carsonite trail markers. As requested, LRRETA installed the new posts right next to those markers and left them in place for now. They'll be removed once the posts are properly labeled with stickers. Some of the pictures will show the location of these trail markers for reference.
A special shout-out to Blair Kenley of KB Ranch for bringing his skid steer and auger to help. With his support and the help from Phil Kenley (Blair's dad), we were able to plant 16 posts in the ground. KB Ranch in Aubrey, https://kbranchllc.com/, is a proud LRRETA sponsor and a fantastic place to ride in their covered arena on those rainy spring days!
With the trail taking shape, we are one step closer to making a lasting impact—thank you to everyone for their hard work and dedication!

TRAIL WARRIORS IN ACTION
Blair Kenley, Tim Hitchcock, and Lorrie Gibbs ran into a beast of a tree blocking the trail. No time for standing around, they fired up the chainsaw and got to work, each one taking turns, steady and tough. Sawdust flew, sweat poured, and in no time, they hacked through the branches and cleared the trail. They were some of the volunteers for today’s LRRETA Workday, giving it their all to keep the path open. PROBLEM SOLVED, TRAIL OPEN!
