Greenbelt 428 Park
Join LRRETA at the upcoming GreenFest 5k/10k Run on April 12, 2025, and stop by our booth to say hello!
Important Notice for Riders:
Please do not park or ride from Greenbelt Park on 428. Instead, we recommend using Isle du Bois or Jordan Park for parking and riding on that day.
Be sure to review the course maps, available online or the posted graphics, as runners will be using the Greenbelt Park on 428 area. Based on Google Maps, it appears they will be on equestrian trails between the orange lines, so horse riders should plan to avoid this section.

Jamie Erbes
President, Lake Ray Roberts Equestrian Trail Association

Please clean up after your horse. All manure and hay should be disposed of in the dumpster. If the dumpster is full, kindly 'pick it and pack it' by placing it back in your trailer.

We are thrilled to introduce Jamie Erbes as the new President of the Lake Ray Roberts Equestrian Trails Association (LRRETA). Jamie brings a wealth of experience, passion, and innovative ideas to our organization. With a deep commitment to fostering growth, promoting excellence in equestrian pursuits, and advancing LRRETA’s goals, Jamie’s leadership promises to guide us into an exciting new chapter.
We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to Linda Moore, our outgoing President, for her outstanding leadership and dedication during her tenure. Under Linda’s guidance, LRRETA has achieved remarkable milestones, strengthened bonds within the equestrian community, and championed initiatives that continue to influence and inspire. Her unwavering commitment to promoting equestrian excellence has left an enduring impact on LRRETA.
Please join us in celebrating both leaders—the future with Jamie and the achievements of Linda—as we continue our shared mission to enhance, grow, and support the equestrian community.
LONESTAR TRAIL BUILDING SCHOOL

Three members of our LRRETA team recently attended the Lonestar Trail Building School in Abilene, TX. Lorrie Gibbs, Dickey Gomez, and Jamie Erbes spent two days learning tips and techniques that will help our organization in our quest to build and maintain trails at Lake Ray Roberts.
We want to thank Richard Buckley, CEO of Green Space Dallas, and Ryan Spates, founder of S&S Trail Services, for their outstanding instruction and leadership during this informative experience.

TRAIL WORK DAY
Rescheduled from Sunday, February 9 and Saturday, February 1 to TODAY, February 8.
Just when everything seems set, Mother Nature has other plans. Increasing rain chances and dropping temperatures may disrupt the workday scheduled for tomorrow, February 9. To stay ahead of the weather, we are moving forward a day early to prepare the trail for the LRRETA's Sweetheart Monthly Ride.
