Information found on the Ray Roberts Lake State Park — Texas Parks & Wildlife Department website

Texas Parks & Wildlife Department website states . . . "Park Closure, Ray Roberts Isle Du Bois, Johnson Branch, and all boat ramp units are closed for flooding and storm damage cleanup through July 11, 2024.

The Greenbelt Hike and Bike trails North of FM 428 remain open."

According to Robbie Merritt, many sections of the park and trails remain under water following the recent tornado. The other areas are still full of hazards, including downed trees and debris. Our team is working diligently to clear these hazards and ensure the safety of all park visitors.

Please bear with us during this challenging period. We are committed to reopening parts of the park and equestrian trails as soon as it is safe to do so. Thank you for your patience and understanding. We will provide updates as more sections become accessible.
