A MESSAGE FROM LRRETA PRESIDENT, JAMIE ERBES

ADD YOUR VOICE - PROTECT THE FUTURE OF OUR TRAILS

LRRETA champions a singular mission: stewarding and advocating for our local equestrian trails. We anchor our work right here in our community, where volunteers mobilize to protect, maintain, and enhance the outdoor spaces we all share.

Transforming Advocacy into Action

We deliver tangible results. To date, LRRETA has captured over $600 in grants to fund critical trail improvements.

Federal funding fuels these grants. Our local efforts depend on our lawmakers’ budgeting funds that flow down to trail projects. We unite with more than 175 leading organizations including American Hiking Society, Back Country Horsemen, Equine Land Conservation Resource, and Rails-to-Trails Conservancy to command attention for upcoming congressional budget plans.

A Resource for Every Trail User

While we originate within the local equestrian community, our work elevates everyone. Whether you ride, hike, or bike, a shared purpose binds us: preserving our natural resources for future generations. When we maintain and improve our trails, the entire outdoor community benefits.

Our Message to Washington: May 15th

On May 15th, LRRETA and others will submit a formal letter to the Senate Appropriations Committee. This letter underscores a clear truth for congressional leaders: investing in America’s trail systems strengthens our health, our well-being, and our local economy. We ask our leaders to protect our trails and parks from budget cuts.

Join the 106: Amplify Our Voice

Today, we stand 106 voices strong. Every new member fortifies our advocacy and supplies the resources needed to keep our trails clear and accessible.

Will you stand with us? Join LRRETA today and safeguard the trails we love.
