About the Event
Saddle up and join LRRETA for a magical Moonlight Ride in the Park on Sunday, July 6th, from 8:30 to 11:00pm!
At 8:30, we'll gather at the Bluestem Grove Campground, https://maps.app.goo.gl/XCMqfbVRNaq3taci7, where we'll check Coggins and park entry. At 9pm, we'll ride out to the north under the glow of a Waxing Gibbous moon, which will shine directly overhead at 10:30pm, lighting our way in nature’s most peaceful hours. This is a unique opportunity to enjoy the trails in a whole new light: literally!
Feel free to adorn your horses with glowsticks on manes and saddles. Please leave bright lamps at home; our equine partners see best in low light, and bright lights can be disorienting. Red-light headlamps are welcome!
For those wanting to extend the adventure, campsites are available through the Texas State Parks system and can be reserved at https://texasstateparks.reserveamerica.com.
Experience the trail like never before, beneath the glow of the moon. Ride with us and let us forge some unforgettable memories!
